Discovery Channel Discovery Channel offers a look behind the scenes engineering efforts being made to stop the flow of oil in the deep Gulf of Mexico, a fact that is acknowledged as the worst environmental catastrophe in the history of the United States.
The documentary presents images exclusive of the explosion on the platform, taken by a boat crew that responded to requests for assistance on 20 April.
